1. Agreement

The terms and conditions outlined herein establish the contractual agreement between you and East Grinstead Airport Minicab. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unequivocally acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions as outlined in this agreement.

2. Definitions

East Grinstead Airport Minicab, referred to as “we” or “us,” denotes the service-providing company. The terms “you” and “your” encompass any individual, business, or company engaging in a booking with us.

3. Booking

3.1 Adequate time allocation for your journey, particularly for airport transfers with specific check-in times, is your responsibility. East Grinstead Airport Minicab shall not be liable for delays resulting from insufficient time allocation or failure to be ready for collection at the designated time.

3.2 It is your responsibility to request a car of suitable size for passengers and luggage. East Grinstead Airport Minicab does not guarantee the transportation of an excessive amount of luggage. Children, regardless of age, are considered individual passengers.

3.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be made during the booking process.

4. Prices & Payment

4.1 Our quoted prices, exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated, are based on information provided by you. Material changes to the itinerary may lead to adjustments in the provided quote.

4.2 The quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the landing time and airport parking costs. Exceeding this waiting period incurs standard East Grinstead Airport Minicab waiting rates.

4.3 Upon accepting a quote, review the booking confirmation for accuracy. Failure to notify discrepancies absolves East Grinstead Airport Minicab of responsibility for delays or costs arising from such errors.

4.4 Payment methods accepted include cash, credit card, or debit card.

5. The Service

5.1 Passenger behavior during the journey is your responsibility. Charges may apply for vehicle soiling, damage, or negative impact due to passenger actions.

5.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is prohibited in the car.

5.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.

5.4 Compliance with licensing or insurance passenger limits is mandatory.

6. Cancellations

6.1 Timely notification of cancellations is required to avoid charges based on the time and distance covered by the driver.

6.2 Online booking cancellations before dispatch may incur charges.

7. Liability

7.1 While efforts are made to ensure timely arrivals, East Grinstead Minicab is not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. No circumstances hold East Grinstead Airport Minicab responsible for losses incurred by you or your business.

7.2 Luggage is carried at your own risk.

7.3 In case of a breakdown, efforts will be made to provide an alternative car promptly.

7.4 You shall not indemnify East Grinstead Airport Minicab for expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from any omission or act by anyone in your party.

7.5 No party can exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or other matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.

8. Termination

8.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is at risk due to abuse, violence, or damage from you or any other passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.

9. Miscellaneous

9.1 East Grinstead Airport Minicab may subcontract obligations as per this agreement. You shall not assign, delegate, or transfer any rights or obligations under this agreement.

9.2 East Grinstead Airport Minicab may modify terms and conditions by updating this page. Review these terms regularly. Existing bookings will adhere to rates in effect at the time of booking.

9.3 Information processing aligns with the Data Protection Act of 1988.

9.4 This agreement constitutes the complete understanding between East Grinstead Airport Minicab and yourself.

9.5 No provision in these terms and conditions is intended to confer advantages or benefits to a third party unless agreed upon in writing.

10. Disputes

Any dispute or claim must be raised within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims made after this period will not be entertained by East Grinstead Airport Minicab.
